dce:WHAT 2 DO IN THE LAST STAGES
This might prove useful. so i cut and pasted best of luck!   author:man mohan gupta You must have got tired after appearing at JEE and AIEEE.   But you must not stop here……………. as no one knows at this stage what can be a better option for you later on. At the end of day, if you have lots of good options available (i.e. either a good branch or a good institute), it is easier for you to take the right decision.  At present, you must put hard work for DCE entrance. Study 13-14 hours a day. Last moment slogging will definitely help to score better. From our experience we know that those who   more ...

ICSE toppers owe success to focused study Tuitions were of little help?
ICSE toppers owe success to focused study*?Tuitions were of little help?*?Teachers, parents our support system? For students who burnt the midnight oil it was a day their efforts bore fruit. With the declaration of the ISC result of Class XII and ICSE Class X results, the students were all smiles as principals and teachers got together to congratulate the toppers and all those who had come through with flying colours. Regularity with classwork seemed to hold the key to success this examination season with most students vouching that it was revision of classroom teaching all through the year that helped them fare well in the examinations. Most of them said that tu   more ...

Top 20 colleges in india, considers placement, infrastructure, etc
India's top 20 engineering collegesJune 28, 2005During spring, just as flowers bloom, rankings of engineering colleges pop out of national magazines. It is time to rejoice for students of some of the highly ranked colleges; while for others, it is time to worry and introspect. Why do we need these rankings?College ranking is a controversial yet a useful guide for many.Consider this: For college-entering students to decide the best option available. For colleges to know what they need to improve and where they stand in the pecking order. For recruiters and human resource managers to decide the college they would visit for campus interviews and negotiate p   more ...

math tricks
1. The 11 Times TrickWe all know the trick when multiplying by ten - add 0 to the end of the number, but did you know there is an equally easy trick for multiplying a two digit number by 11? This is it:Take the original number and imagine a space between the two digits (in this example we will use 52:5_2Now add the two numbers together and put them in the middle:5_(5+2)_2That is it - you have the answer: 572.If the numbers in the middle add up to a 2 digit number, just insert the second number and add 1 to the first:9_(9+9)_9(9+1)_8_910_8_91089 - It works every time.2. Quick SquareIf you need to square a 2 digit number ending in 5, you can do so very easily with thi   more ...

CHIRALITY ,ENANTIOMERS, STEREOISOMERS AND ISOMERISM
Enantiomers  Chirality  STEREOISOMERS are  molecules that have the same connectivity but differ in their spatial arrangement of atoms. We see that the rigidity of double bonds give rise to one type of stereoisomerism, cis-trans isomerism. However, it turns out, cis-trans isomers form only a small subset of stereoisomers. A more important type of stereoisomerism arises from molecules that are chiral.   We have some intuitive notion of what it means for an object to be chiral, which is a Greek word meaning "handed". Consider the relation between our left and right hands. They appear to be the same, and yet there are clearly som   more ...

A Lesson in Life
A Lesson in LifeEverything happens for a reason. Nothing happens by chance or by means of good or bad luck. Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of your soul. Without these small tests, if they be events, illnesses or relationships, life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to nowhere.   If someone hurts you, betrays you , or breaks you heart, forg   more ...      [ 1, 2 ]

And I want to share it with u all which i think will prove very much beneficial to you. Hope these words will change your life(from a GoIITian to an IITian)What is success? I think I can?t get a better question to start of things with. A lot of people have described it in their own way but in my view which I think everyone will support is that success is that state of mind in which your feeling can?t be expressed in words but can only be felt and can make others feel jealous of you, you may be thinking jealous?? Divisibility Test
A number is divisible by 2 if its last digit is also (i.e. 0,2,4,6 or 8).A number is divisible by 3 if the sum of its digits is also. Example: 534: 5+3+4=12 and 1+2=3 so 534 is divisible by 3.A number is divisible by 5 if the last digit is 5 or 0.Most people know (only) those 3 rules. Here are my rules for divisibility by the PRIMES up to 50. Why only primes and not also composite numbers? A number is divisible by a composite if it is also divisible by all the prime factors (e.g. is divisible by 21 if divisible by 3 AND by 7). Small numbers are used in these worked examples, so you could have used a pocket calculator. But my rules apply to any number of digits, wher   more ...
