some imp. pts abt. surface tension..... On adding detergent to a liquid ,its surface tension as well as viscosity decreases On increasing the temp. surface tension decreases on inc. the temp. viscosity pf liquids decreases but that of gases increases critical temp. is the temp. at wich surface tension of the liquid becomes zero Bigger drop is nt spherical in shape bcoz of gravity the liquids having lesser surface tension spreads more on surface Oil spreads in the form of layer on cold water surface however it remain like a drop on hot water surface bcoz S.T. of oil is lesser than cold wat
