The questions asked in mathematics in this year's AIEEE were lengthy and conceptual. The level of questions can be compared with questions asked in Mathematics section of IIT-JEE. As compared to last year, this year the questions asked in maths were difficult. Unlike like last year the numbers of questions were only 30 questions as compared to 35 questions asked in last year. This in a way is an indication that the paper or level of AIEEE is inching towards higher level of complexity, since the amount of time remains same but the number of questions asked have reduced. The total numbers of question in AIEEE 2009 were 90, with 30 in each subject. This year there

National Institutes of Technology (NITs) are premier colleges of engineering and technology education in India. They were originally called Regional Engineering Colleges (RECs). In 2002, the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, decided to upgrade, in phases, all the original 17 Regional Engineering Colleges (RECs) as National Institutes of Technology (NITs), on the lines of the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). These institutes are rated just next to the IITs in terms of student quality, research, and placements. There are currently 20 NITs, the latest being NIT, Agartala. The Government of India has introduced the National

in the last few days (since i have become frequent at goiit, again)...i have answered many queries regarding admission thru AIEEE... nd onething which i hav noticed is, not evryone knws about the actual system of admission (even i got to know after my result)...so jst thought to tell u all this stuff... ..so here's sth exclusively for all the AIEEE aspirants!! AIEEE is an all india exam, whr the all india rank is given, but its not the AIRs, which gives the candidate the admission in the NITs (m talking just about NITs, nd not thapar, jaypee, or daiict)..its thr state rank... cuz every NIT has some definte state quota... some definite no of seats for e

Though this may have been given before but for those who dont know abt it.....i wud like to contribute this analysis...... NOTE: The terms ?Easy (E)?, ?Medium: (M)?, and ?Difficult: (D)? are based on the following points:EASY(E):- Easy Questions are defined as those questions that can be answered by a student who knows the concept under question. It is a direct application of the concept. A student is expected to have attempted all the EASY Category Questions.MEDIUM(M):- Medium Difficulty Questions are those questions that may involve more than one concept. A well-prepared student should be able to identify at least 75% of these and solve them correctlyDIFFIC

Many times I've seen people saying that because of negative marking, one should only attempt questions in objective examinations that one is fully sure of. I've seen this advice being given for the IIT-JEE, the AIEEE, and even the UPSC exams (negative marking has been introduced this year). This advice is WRONG, WRONG, WRONG. Why am I saying so? It's all a question of probabilities. Read on to find out. Why are negative marks given? Before negative marking was introduced, several students got through just by guessing questions blindly. Negative marking is meant to discourage blind guessing. The keywor
